Refund Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how charges and refunds work for Appricot. It is part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, so refunds are paid through Paddle.
1. How we charge
- Free plan: 1 store, 2 apps and $10 of AI building a month, with no charge and no card needed.
- Paid plan: $19 per store a month, with unlimited apps on each store. A store is charged only for the time it is connected and has at least one app, measured by the hour, so a store added or removed mid-month costs only for part of that month.
- AI building: $10 a month is included. Usage beyond that is charged at cost, which is what our AI provider charges us for it.
- When: we charge at the start of each month for the month before, so you never pay in advance for time you haven't used. If the amount owed during a month reaches $100, we charge it then.
Current prices are on our pricing page. Each charge comes with a receipt from Paddle.
2. Refunds
Ask within fourteen (14) days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You don't need to give a reason, though it helps us to know, for example a store or usage that shouldn't have been charged, a duplicate charge, a store you meant to remove, or that Appricot wasn't right for you.
After fourteen (14) days, charges are final, except where our Terms of Service provide for a refund: when we materially reduce the Service's functionality (Section 1.3), or when we end your plan for our convenience (Section 3.4(c)). We may also refund in other cases at our discretion.
3. How to ask
Email support@appricot.ai with your store's address and the date or receipt number of the charge. You can also contact Paddle through the link on your receipt or at paddle.net.
4. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid by Paddle to the payment method used for the charge, in the currency of the charge. They usually arrive within five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on your bank. Any tax collected on a refunded charge is refunded with it.
5. Stopping and cancelling
You can stop at any time by removing your stores from Appricot. Billing stops from that moment, with no cancellation fee. Use before then is charged at the start of the next month, and can be refunded under Section 2. Removing a store doesn't delete your account: to close it, write to us as described in our Privacy Policy.
Plans with a minimum commitment, which exist only by separate written agreement, follow the terms of that agreement.
6. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first: we will fix it faster than a card dispute. If a chargeback is filed, we may pause the account involved until it is resolved.
7. Your rights
This policy doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you, or under Paddle's buyer terms.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes apply to charges made after the "Last updated" date above.
